Ingredients:
- 1 medium butternut squash
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400F 200C
Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds
Mix olive oil, black pepper, sea salt, smoked paprika, and garlic powder in a small bowl
Brush the spice mixture evenly over the cut sides of the butternut squash
Place the squash halves cut side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Roast in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until the squash is tender when pierced with a fork
