Steaks cut into cubes and covered in savory gravy are cooked to perfection in a slow cooker.
Ingredients:
- 4 cubed steaks
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Season cubed steaks with salt and pepper
In a skillet, brown cubed steaks on both sides
Place browned steaks in a slow cooker
Top with sliced onions and minced garlic
In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, flour, and water until smooth
Pour mixture over steaks in the slow cooker
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until steaks are tender
Serve with mashed potatoes or rice
