REC TEC Smoked Brisket

Savor a succulent, perfectly cooked brisket that has a hint of smoke thanks to your REC TEC Pellet Grill. Barbecue enthusiasts will have a mouthwatering experience as the natural flavors are enhanced by the savory rub.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole beef brisket 12-15 pounds
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup coarse black pepper
  • 1/4 cup paprika
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Wood pellets hickory or oak

Instructions:

Trim excess fat from the brisket, leaving about 1/4 inch of fat

In a bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, and cayenne pepper to create a rub

Apply the rub evenly over the brisket, ensuring full coverage on all sides

Let the seasoned brisket sit at room temperature for 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to penetrate

Preheat the REC TEC Pellet Grill to 225F 107C using hickory or oak wood pellets

Place the brisket on the grill grates with the fat side up

Smoke the brisket for approximately 1

5 hours per pound or until the internal temperature reaches 195-205F 90-96C

Once done, remove the brisket from the grill and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing

Slice against the grain and serve

Bratwurst-Doner Burger

A fusion of classic Bratwurst and Doner flavors in a burger form. Grilled Bratwurst sausages topped with a colorful mix of cabbage, onions, and pickles, all nestled in a toasted bun with a zesty mayo-mustard sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Bratwurst sausages
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • 1/2 cup sliced red cabbage
  • 1/2 cup sliced white cabbage
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Set your grill or grill pan on medium-high heat to get it ready to use

Brush the bratwurst sausages with olive oil and put them on the grill

Cook them for 8 to 10 minutes, turning them over once or twice, until they are fully cooked and have grill marks

Do something else on the grill while the sausages are cooking: toast the hamburger buns for a few minutes until they are just barely brown

To make a sauce, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a small bowl

Take the sausages off the grill when theyre done and let them rest for one minute

Spread the mayo-mustard sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun before putting the burgers together

On top of the sauce on each bun, put a Bratwurst sausage

Red and white cabbage slices, red onions, and dill pickles should be put on top of the sausages

Add pepper and salt to taste

If you want, you can add lettuce leaves as a garnish

To finish making the burgers, put the top half of each bun on top of each one

Serve your tasty Bratwurst-Doner Burgers right away and enjoy

Black Bean and Corn Salad

This gluten-free chili is hearty and tasty, made with Italian sausage, beans, and fragrant spices. It is cooked slowly in a crockpot for an easy and comforting meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb gluten-free Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 14
  • 5 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 15 oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 15 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Break up the Italian sausage into crumbles and cook it in a skillet until its browned

Cut up some onion, garlic, and bell pepper and add them to the pan

Make sure the vegetables are soft

Put the cooked vegetables and sausage in a slow cooker

Put kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker

Also add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce

Use a stir to mix

Put the lid on top and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours

Enjoy while hot
