Ingredients:
- 2 Bratwurst sausages
- 2 hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup sliced red cabbage
- 1/2 cup sliced white cabbage
- 1/2 cup sliced red onions
- 1/4 cup sliced dill pickles
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Set your grill or grill pan on medium-high heat to get it ready to use
Brush the bratwurst sausages with olive oil and put them on the grill
Cook them for 8 to 10 minutes, turning them over once or twice, until they are fully cooked and have grill marks
Do something else on the grill while the sausages are cooking: toast the hamburger buns for a few minutes until they are just barely brown
To make a sauce, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a small bowl
Take the sausages off the grill when theyre done and let them rest for one minute
Spread the mayo-mustard sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun before putting the burgers together
On top of the sauce on each bun, put a Bratwurst sausage
Red and white cabbage slices, red onions, and dill pickles should be put on top of the sausages
Add pepper and salt to taste
If you want, you can add lettuce leaves as a garnish
To finish making the burgers, put the top half of each bun on top of each one
Serve your tasty Bratwurst-Doner Burgers right away and enjoy
