This gluten-free chili is hearty and tasty, made with Italian sausage, beans, and fragrant spices. It is cooked slowly in a crockpot for an easy and comforting meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb gluten-free Italian sausage
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 14
- 5 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 15 oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 15 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Break up the Italian sausage into crumbles and cook it in a skillet until its browned
Cut up some onion, garlic, and bell pepper and add them to the pan
Make sure the vegetables are soft
Put the cooked vegetables and sausage in a slow cooker
Put kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker
Also add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce
Use a stir to mix
Put the lid on top and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours
Enjoy while hot
