Ingredients:
- 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Grease a 12-inch pizza pan and preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius
Beat the softened butter and granulated sugar in a sizable mixing bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy
Beat the butter-sugar mixture thoroughly after adding the eggs and vanilla extract
Mix the flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt in a different bowl
When a soft cookie dough forms, gradually mix in the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients
Add the semisweet chocolate chips and mix well
To make a large cookie pizza crust, evenly spread the cookie dough in the greased pizza pan
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cookie sets and feels slightly firm to the touch, in a preheated oven
Take it out of the oven and allow it to gently cool within the pan
It can be eaten warm or cooled, then sliced into wedges and served
