Ingredients:
- 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chunks or chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C
Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined
Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture and mix until smooth
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined
Fold in the chocolate chunks or chips into the blondie batter
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the blondies are golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs
Remove from the oven and allow the blondies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes
Using the parchment paper overhang, lift the blondies out of the pan and transfer them to a cutting board to cool completely
Once cooled, cut the blondies into squares or bars
